Hey! I’m Delaya, a self-taught sewist turned designer.

I started sewing in 2004 with the encouragement of my mother and have been sewing off and on ever since. The hobby led me to my passion and career but sewing for yourself is unmatched. I went through the beginning phases where I felt inadequate and intimidated by sewing. In fact, there was a whole year my first sewing machine sat in a box untouched because I didn’t know what to do with it. Decades later (yikes), I openly challenge myself to design and make clothes for myself that are completely out of my realm of knowledge. 1. When does the class start? First module opens December 29th. Last module opens March 23rd. 2. How long do I have access to the course? You’ll have access to the course for forever, along with any extra course material that gets added through it’s lifetime. 3. How long does the course take? The modules are set on a schedule to release weekly. If you follow along with the course, it’ll be at least 13 weeks. However, if you find yourself not able to keep up, that’s fine and you can do the course at your own pace as well. 4. I’m very busy, what if I don’t have the time? Believe me, I understand. The beauty about sewing is it will always be there for you when you have a moment. The tutorials in the course are short and sweet. You can work on one lesson a night or one a weekend if you’d like. You also have lifetime access so you can take as long as you need. 5. Do I have to have a sewing machine when I start? No, you don’t need a sewing machine to start. The course will help you choose your first machine if you don’t have one. 6. Will I have to make more investments within this course? If you don’t already have the items suggested for your tool kit and tutorials, than yes, more purchases may need to be made, but not with me. You can make these purchases when you’re ready and the course will suggest some cost friendly suggestions as well. 7. How are the modules set up? Each module consists of videos that break down its topic focus. Some videos are photo and text with voice overs explaining the content, while others are visual tutorials actively showing step-by-step processes. Where needed, worksheets, guides and lists are also included. 8. What if I don’t understand a tutorial or how it’s shown? What if I’m having trouble following along and can’t get it on my own? The important part of the this masterclass is to make sure you understand everything that’s being taught. At the end of each week there will be a LIVE group coaching call where we can discuss lessons and work through tutorials together. 9.
